Hansard
What is Hansard?
Hansard is the name given to the transcript of the proceedings of parliaments and their committees at Federal/State/Territory levels. In the Parliament of Australia, this includes the Senate, House of Representatives, the Federation Chamber and all parliamentary committees.
Each State/Territory publish their parliament's proceedings accordingly. Check other jurisdictions Hansard sites for their alerting services.

Queensland Hansard
- Record of Proceedings (Hansard)The Record of Proceedings is the official record of the debates and procedures of the Queensland Parliament's Legislative Assembly; that is, it is a record of what is said in the House and a record of the procedural events of the House. The Record of Proceedings is commonly referred to as Hansard.
States and Territories Hansard
- Australian Capital TerritoryHANSARD records and publishes the debates of the Legislative Assembly and the evidence taken during hearings of the Assembly committees.
- New South WalesA continuous run of NSW Hansard transcripts (dating back to 1824), is available in digital format on the Parliament’s website. Includes the Marsh Index from the 1st to the 9th Parliament and scanned copies of the Reports of Debates published in the Sydney Morning Herald.
- Northern TerritoryHansard Debates and Minutes of Proceedings of the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory. Complete Parliamentary Record available from the 1st Assembly.
- South AustraliaHansard is the official report of the debates and proceedings of the Parliament. Available online from 1992 onwards.
- VictoriaHansard produces and publishes Daily Hansard and weekly Hansard, which can be downloaded from 1999 onwards. Hansard volumes for all Parliaments from 1856.
